    The reason T-Rex's arms are so tiny is because it's barely using them anymore. Tyrannosaurs as a whole have arms that are shrinking because they're not using them to hunt anymore and are instead relying on their heads and jaws to do the killing (their teeth are getting wider and more robust, and their jaws and jaw muscles are becoming stronger so they can bite through bone and/or armor). However, despite their reduced size, T-Rex's arms are still very strong. They've done tests based on the size of the muscle scars on the bones and they've found each of T-Rex's arms could lift up to 400 pounds. So the big debate is what were T-Rex and its fellow Tyrannosaurs using their arms for if not to hunt? Well, the main theory nowadays is that they were using their arms for social interactions with members of their own kind, such as grooming.

    Hello and good day Millie. I/we love you to death but you have to rid of the flowers on the screenn You can't see a damn thing. Either make the flowers much lighter or take them out completely and just cut or blur the scene just a little bit and that will take care of the copy right issues. Really you can't see anything at all. Only another piece of advise is to get another girl to watch it with you. Surveys have shown that the more girls together the views you get. But have at one girl with and you'll see that your views will get much bigger. The more chicks the more views. But please do something about the viewing screen so the viewers can see more along with you. Thank you and best success to you. Ishmael "El Ishbo" Diaz AKA: "Cuchifrito"

    Great reaction Millie! Your reactions remind me of when I first saw this movie at a Drive-in Theater. What is a Drive-in Theater you ask? Well us classic folks used to drive into a giant parking lot, with speaker stands, concession stand, and a giant projection screen on one end. Better known as a Drive-in Movie Theater, and watch classic movies all Summer long. Lol, anyway I would recommend the rest of the Jurassic Park series, and into the Jurassic World series. You'll enjoy them all. Thanks for another fun reaction Millie! And I am looking forward to your next flick! 🎥🍿👍

    "Welcome... to Jurassic Park." Fun Fact: The franchise generated much interest in dinosaurs that the study of paleontology saw a record increase in students. Lost In Adaptation Fact: The Mr. DNA (Greg Burson) cartoon was Steven Spielberg's way of condensing much of the novel's exposition into a few minutes. Practical Over CGI Fact: What made this movie the groundbreaking flick that we know today, was the use of Practical Effects with CGI mixed in. If this movie was made today, CGI would have been used for everything and it wouldn't have looked good. Self Insert Fact: Michael Crichton said that his views on science and genetic engineering are largely expressed by Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). Steven Spielberg saw many parallels to himself in the character of John Hammond (Richard Attenborough). Fittingly, Spielberg cast a fellow filmmaker in the role, who begins his tour of the park by showing a movie in which he also acts. While Malcolm is dressed entirely in black, Hammond wears all white. Not The Virus Fact: The guests' encounter with the sick Triceratops ends without any clear explanation as to why the animal is sick. Michael Crichton's original novel and the screenplay, however, include an explanation: the Stegosaurus/Triceratops lacked suitable teeth for grinding food, and so, like birds, would swallow rocks and use them as gizzard stones. In the digestive tract, these rocks would grind the food to aid in digestion. After six weeks, the rocks would become too smooth to be useful, and the animal would regurgitate them. When finding and eating new rocks to use, the animal would also swallow West Indian Lilac berries. The fact that the berries and stones are regurgitated explains why traces of them are not found in the animal's excrement.

    • @anunnacy
      @anunnacy 4 дня назад

      Other reactors do it too, just in different ways. Some use a watermark or image-overlay, others do quicker cuts with them fullscreen in between, others blur/pixelate every now and then.. and some reactors out there show way more, but are also taking a higher risk by doing that. Hope that answers the question. ;)

Some of the elder species of birds today are still dinosaurs (Ostrich, emu, rhea) and Turtles, tortoises and crocodilians were around BEFORE dinosaurs and still eeked their way through all the trials being much more flexible in their niches to survive.

ALL THESE FILMS ARE GREAT! thanks for the video.

      @@TheNighthhawk That would be funny. But there are lots of discrepancies; raptors the size of turkeys. Pudgier T Rex's that chirp. I was fine with the dinos when I saw the film back in '93.

    The embryos, out of the freezer, are dead. The can was only good for 36 hours. The other Jurassic Park movies are independent stories and, while entertaining to watch, they are not as good as the first one.

    This movie was the first to really use CGI (even though a number of scenes used actual props) to the point we take this for granted today. But you have no idea how stunning it was to audiences seeing it for the first time. For one thing, the novel (with the same name) a few years earlier and this movie really brought the "Dinosaur Renaissance" to the attention of the public (even though it started in the 1960's). I grew up in the 1950's where dinos were portrayed as sluggish dim-witted beasts. There was even a claim which was believed large dinos were so dumb, they had a second brain in their pelvic area. (Not true but also the entire dinosaur family, including birds, have a much more efficient brain, which is why crows and ravens can be so incredibly smart despite such a small brain.) There was even a joke at the time of a dinosaur alarm clock. The beast would bite his own tail and get a good rest before the impulse reached his head and woke him up. Depictions of dinos before this move were pretty crude, and since then, if you didn't know better, you'd think they were filming real creatures. Before this movie, they had to use jerky stop-action clay animations (as in the 1933 King Kong), or they would film a Gila Monster up close and down low, then project it enlarged behind the actors.

    Fun fact: Jim Carrey was almost cast in the role of Dr. Ian Malcolm before it was ultimately given to Jeff Goldblum. The casting director audtioned Carrey several times before Spielberg decided he wanted Goldblum's take on the character. This gave Carrey the freedom and availability to make two of his most iconic movies "The Mask" and "Dumb&Dumber".
